Want to test your new music in a new setting? AUX is like an open mic night but for your songs and beats. Join us on the first Wednesday of every month

Every first Wednesday of every other month at Pirate Gowanus, Pirate hosts AUX, our monthly music-sharing and networking event. Recording artists and producers are invited to play their original music in front of an audience full of other artists, producers and music industry professionals.

The audience votes for their favorite track and one AUX participant takes home $250 worth of Pirate studio credit.

May's special guest A&R host is Aziza Hassen, A&R and Project Manager at Platoon. Aziza has worked with notable talents such as Ayra Starr, Nines, Teni, Adekunle Gold, Steffon Don, Ms Banks, NSG, ShaSimone, M1onthebeat and is currently developing upcoming rapper Proph.

This is your opportunity to learn everything you need to know about legal terms in music, negotiating your contracts, what you are entitled to and more.

Our infamous A&R Feedback sessions are back! Once a month, we invite all artists and producers to submit their music for a chance to have a major label A&R listen and give feedback live on this online call.

This session is hosted by A&R and DJ, Laura Arowolo from EMI Recording (UMG) and we are listening to tracks from Dance, Electronic and Alternative artists and producers.
