The Artists Using Our East London Recording Studios
The Heart of East London’s Music and Creative Community
Where new artists, local scenes and fresh sounds come together

East London has its own rhythm, shaped by open-mic nights in Dalston, grassroots gigs in Hackney, late-night jam sessions in converted warehouses and the constant mix of genres born in the area. From rising rappers and vocalists to bedroom producers and experimental bands, the neighbourhood has become a meeting point for young artists building their craft and collaborating across scenes.
Venues like Village Underground, The Jago, Oslo and The Shacklewell Arms help fuel that momentum, with new talent performing, discovering each other and finding their sound. Pirate is one of the many spaces that contribute to this creative ecosystem, giving artists across East London a place to make noise, try ideas, and stay connected to a community that never stops creating.
AUX: The Drop-In Night for East London’s Rising Artists
Come join us, bring your latest track and meet the creatives shaping what’s next.

AUX is Pirate’s grassroots music-sharing night, born from the creative energy that runs through Dalston. Each month, artists from across East London, rappers, singers, producers and hybrid creators come together to play their latest tracks, test ideas, get inspired and meet other rising talent.
AUX is where new ideas get aired for the first time, half-finished demos, bold experiments, whatever you’re cooking up. With a mix of regulars, new faces and a guest host each month, it’s become a go-to link-up for artists recording in London. Bring a track, meet people, and be part of what’s happening right now.
