Make sure your application stands out
Producers are invited to submit one track, so make sure it’s your best work. For this competition, we’re only accepting music within the genres of hip hop, trap, or drill.
Submit your entry through the application form, where you’ll include a SoundCloud link to your track. Be sure to use the official competition artwork when uploading your song.
AIAIAI, Pirate Studios, and Tank God will select the grand prize winner, while five runner-ups will be chosen from a shortlist through a public vote.
Bootcamp with Tank God
What You’ll Do in LA
In collaboration with Danish audio equipment manufacturer AIAIAI, we’ve created a unique mentorship opportunity for one talented music creator to spend 4 days in Los Angeles and take part in a beatmaking bootcamp with multi-platinum-selling producer Tank God.
Applications are open to producers from anywhere in the world who make hip hop, rap, or drill beats.
The winner will be flown to Los Angeles, stay in a hotel, and take part in two one-on-one studio sessions with Tank God. During these sessions, you'll receive personalised feedback on your music and technical support from a diamond-certified record producer.
When you're not in the studio, you'll have time to explore and get inspired by this iconic music city, with all expenses covered.
Plus, you’ll get brand new AIAIAI headphones and monitors to keep: AIAIAI will provide the winner with their low-latency Wireless+ studio headphones and portable UNIT-4 monitors.

We’re expecting high interest in this opportunity and want to recognise and support more talent than just one winner. That’s why five runners-up will receive a pair of TMA-2 Studio XE headphones from AIAIAI and €/£/$100 in studio credit to spend at any of Pirate’s 36 global locations.
The five runners-up will be selected through a public vote from a shortlist of the best tracks, curated by AIAIAI and Pirate. Shortlisted artists will be contacted by email before the public vote.

Meet Your Mentor
One promising producer working in hip hop, rap, or drill will take part in a private bootcamp with Tank God, a multi-platinum-selling beatmaker, rapper, singer, and songwriter.
Tank God received widespread acclaim for his innovative production work on "Rockstar" by Post Malone & 21 Savage. He has also worked with artists like A$AP Rocky, A Boogie wit da Hoodie, Lil Tjay, Tory Lanez, and Tyla Yaweh.
Tank God will join the Pirate crew and AIAIAI staff on the judging panel to help decide who he will mentor at Pirate Studios in Los Angeles.
