The latest on safety measures, restrictions and studio opening times (updated daily). We're doing everything we can to ensure you have a good session — with 30,000+ returning customers since the outbreak of COVID-19 and an average rating of 4.7 out of 5 stars for safety.

What we're doing to prevent the spread of COVID-19:

  • Implemented a track and trace system to ensure you and your guests can get any essential updates
  • Upped our cleaning and sanitising practices with a daily deep-clean
  • We provide antibacterial spray and paper towels at every site
  • Our self-service model minimises the number of people you come into contact with

Help us help you

  • Enter all your guests' details when requested at booking
  • Respect the government or CDC guidelines on capacity/households in your area
  • Wear a mask in the common areas (this is mandatory for all customers)
  • Practice social distancing
  • Before and after each session, please ensure you sanitise and clean all equipment using the provided spray and paper towels
  • Wash your hands — for as long as it takes to name at least 15 EDM genres
  • Remember our customer support team is here to help if you have any questions

    ENGLAND AND SCOTLAND

    Until 7th March: Selected Pirate studios will remain open only for users that cannot otherwise work at home. Capacity is normal, please see the booking page for individual studio limits.

    From 8th March: All Pirate studios in England are available for work and educational purposes if you cannot otherwise work at home. Taking bookings now.

    We’re happy to review any accounts previously marked as 'recreational purposes' upon customer request — pop onto live chat and we'll be happy to assist.

    WALES
    Cardiff closed from 11 January 2021 onwards. 

    IRELAND
    Dublin closed from 25 February 2021 onwards, due to local restrictions. This decision will be reviewed on 5 April 2021.

    Don't forget to wear your mask in all studios (when with other people) and at all times in the common areas!

    What is 'track and trace' or contact tracing?

    To allow our studios to return to normal operation, we are asking all bookers to share the name and phone number of everyone who will be at the session.  You can add them when booking, or add afterwards via your account page.

    If you test positive for coronavirus (COVID-19) or have had close contact with someone who has tested positive, this precaution allows us to share details with your country’s health programme. Details will only be used for this purpose and will be deleted 21 days after the date of booking.

    Please note, this will also apply to students using BIMM designated rooms.

    How can I help keep myself and others safe?

    You must adhere to government guidelines on physical distancing, staying two metres apart at all times. We'll be providing antibacterial spray and paper towels at the studio, for use on-site (we know it may be tempting to take them with you, but removing these will result in a fine).

    Before and after your session, please spray sanitiser onto the paper towel — and use it to wipe down any equipment or surfaces you come into contact with.

    Of course, the best advice is to stay at home if you feel unwell.

    What sort of cleaning are you doing?

    Your safety and wellbeing is our highest priority – we wouldn’t do anything to put this at risk. All studios are cleaned and sanitised as often as possible, but it’s still crucial for you to wipe down and sanitise the kit at the beginning and end of each session. In the UK, DE and IE we provide antibacterial spray and paper towels at every site, and in the US we provide antibacterial wipes.

    What times will the studios be open?

    We'll keep the latest information on this page. Keep checking back to see when your local studio is open, and look to the booking calendar for availability. 

    What is your cancellation policy?

    If you've made a booking with us but have any symptoms (however mild), we'd ask that you please refrain from taking your booking. 

    If your booking is more than 12 hours away, you can easily cancel or move your booking in your account by going to 'My Bookings' and clicking on the relevant session.

    If your booking is less than 12 hours away refunds are available or we can shift your booking to a later date — get in touch via Live Chat and we'll be happy to help.
